Will Watts has been involved in Demand Response Research for 7 years, since first working on a Demand Response project in Professor Paul Wright’s lab. He’s been at GE Home and Business Solutions for 2 years. First he lead the development of the Nucleus software-system architecture. Now he develops firmware for the Appliance Control Module, the Zigbee interface for Smart Appliance communications. Will has a MS in Mechanical Engineering and BA in Physics from UC Berkeley. He is also a proud Alum of LBNL’s undergraduate fellowship program, where he was an experimentalist in EETD's Air Pollutant Transport Group for David Lorenzetti, and Tracy Thatcher.
