Shankar Earni
Shankar Earni is a Program Manager in the Building Technologies and Urban Systems Department. He has been a part of the Applications Team supporting the Federal Energy Management Program’s (FEMP) Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs). He primarily concentrates on Measurement and Verification (M&V) activities supporting Federal agencies in their ESPC work. Prior to LBNL, he worked as a Senior Performance Assurance Specialist at Johnson Controls Inc., conducting M&V activities for performance contracting projects. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University and his M.S in Petroleum and Mechanical Engineering from University of Tulsa, BS in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University, India. His research interests include Energy Efficiency and Management, M&V, Process Control, and Production Control in manufacturing systems.
