Masayoshi Tanishita is a Fulbright visiting scholar and an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Chuo University, Japan. His research concerns topics in transport policy and city planning. In recent years, he has been analyzing the impacts of car-related taxation on fuel consumption in Japan.
