Katsuhiro Miura majored in Architecture at Kyoto University, Japan, received his B. Eng. in 1986 and M. Eng. in 1988. He has been working for Kajima Corporation since 1988 and spent two years at CEDR, University of California, Berkeley as a Research Associate between 1992 and 1994. He received his Dr.Eng from Kyoto University in 2009. His main research areas are HVAC systems, energy management and thermal comfort.
