Holmes Hummel is the Senior Policy Advisor for the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Policy & International Affairs. In addition to negotiation of international energy and climate agreements, the portfolio also includes use of a wide range of executive authorities to advance national energy policy objectives. Previously, Dr. Hummel served as a Congressional Science Fellow and taught at the Energy Resource Group at UC-Berkeley. Dr. Hummel holds a PhD from Stanford University for research exploring energy technology and policy implications of paths to climate stabilization.
