Mr. Blanford is a doctoral student under Prof. John Weyant in the Department of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University.  His dissertation research on R&D strategy is part of Stanford's Global Climate and Energy Project, and he has previous experience with the Energy Modeling Forum, the Joint Global Change Research Institute, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He holds a B.A. in mathematics from Yale University and an M.S. in operations research from Columbia University.
