David Dallinger studied business engineering at the Jena University of Applied Sciences. He completed his dissertation and was subsequently employed at ABB (High Voltage) in Switzerland and China. He holds an MSc in Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency from the University of Kassel. He has been working at the Fraunhofer ISI in Karlsruhe since April 2008 and has several years of experience in electricity systems modeling.
