
Chris Stratton is a Research Associate in the Energy Performance of Buildings (EPB) group. He investigates the implications of home energy retrofits for energy use, environmental impacts, and the health and safety of both occupants and workers. His current projects include evaluating the accuracy of measuring mechanical ventilation with commercially-available flow capture hoods and assessing the air quality of certified low-emission homes.
In addition to his research, Chris maintains the EPB website. He is a technical editor for Home Energy magazine and a BPI Building Analyst and Envelope Professional. He holds Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Environmental Studies degrees from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from Oberlin College.
