Mr. Washom serves as the lead due diligence examiner for the World Bank on fuel cells and for USDOE on SOFC fuel cells, as a Sr. Strategic Advisor to USDOE in IGCC and Carbon Capture & Sequestration, and as Strategic Advisor to BP/Edison Mission Energy on the Carson Hydrogen Power Plant. In 1980, he founded Advanco Corp, which set the recognized world's best solar energy conversion efficiency to the grid at 29.4%, a record broken only this year by SNLA after standing for 24 years.
