
Bruce Riordan is a consultant on transportation and climate change issues in the Bay Area. He is currently assisting the Metropolitan Transportation Commission with the analysis of regional transportation strategies to reduce CO2. He is also assessing climate policies and programs for the Joint Policy Committee, BART, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and Next Ten. In February, Mr. Riordan co-founded Bay Area Climate Solutions, a new organization that will serve a catalyst for the regionwide implementation of the very best climate change solutions by public agencies, businesses, schools, advocacy groups, faith-based organizations and others. In 2007, Mr. Riordan was trained by Al Gore and The Climate Project and is now making presentations to community-based groups on global and local climate impacts and solutions.
