
Brinda Thomas is a Ph.D. candidate in the Engineering & Public Policy department at Carnegie Mellon University studying energy efficiency policies and the electric power sector. Her Ph.D. research focuses on DC distribution for commercial buildings and on quantifying the energy efficiency rebound effect in the U.S. residential sector. Previously, she conducted technical and market analysis for lighting efficiency standards and an LED technology assessment at Navigant Consulting, and supported the DOE Hydrogen Fuel Cell program at SRA, Intl. She has a B.S. in Physics from Stanford.
