Mr. ZHANG Shicong is the Deputy Director of the Research Center for Development Strategy of Institute of Building Environment and Energy, China Academy of Building Research. He is also the alternate Delegate of China for the International Energy Agency-Energy Conservation through Energy Storage Implementing Agreement (IEA-ECES). From 2006 to 2010, he worked as the Building Group Alternate Delegate of China for the Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate-Buildings and Appliances Task Force (APP-BATF). As a result of this work, he has a lot of international experience in bilateral and international programs, such as the Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate-Buildings, the Appliances Task Force supported by US Department of State and the US Department of Energy, development of the Energy Performance Benchmarking tool in China supported by the Energy Foundation, adaptability Research and demonstration of building HVAC system and equipment support by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and US-China Sustainable Buildings Partnership support by US Environmental Protection Agency.
