Liping Wang is a Mechanical Engineering Postdoc in the Simulation Research Group. Her current research interests include energy efficient building systems, building energy simulation, fault detection and diagnostics. Prior to joining LBNL, she was a research engineer in Energy System Lab at Texas A&M University. She also has postdoctoral research experience on zero energy building projects from Wales School of Architecture at Cardiff University, United Kingdom. Liping received her Ph.D. degree in Building Technology from National University of Singapore. Her dissertation focused on coupling building simulation and CFD for the prediction of thermal performance of facade for naturally ventilated residential buildings. Liping received her Bachelor and Master degrees in HVAC Engineering from Xi’an University of Arch. & Tech., China.
