Jingyi Hu is a senior engineer at the China Electronics Standardization Institute (CESI for short) who has more than 10 years of experience in standardization and conformity assessment of IT products. He is the executive vice director of the Green Development Promotion Centre and the vice director of the Certification Centre at CESI.

From March 2012 to April 2013, Jingyi Hu worked in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT for short). He participated in the industrial layout, investment management, and foundational technology enhancement of Chinese Industry. He also is responsible for the management of the "China's industrial space layout and regional harmonious development" research conducted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering.

In recent years, as project leader, he has conducted “The Research and Demonstration of Carbon Footprint Assessment Technology of Typical IT Product” support for the Ministry of Science and Technology, “Green Development Public Service Platform of IT Industry” support for the MIIT, and “Studies of Building the Low Carbon Certification System in China” support for the National Development and Reform Commission.
