Dr. Jason Stauth received his MS/PhD from U.C. Berkeley in 2008. He is currently Director of Hardware Engineering at Solar Semiconductor, Inc where he is focused on new techniques in distributed power management for on- and off-grid renewable energy systems. Prior to Solar Semiconductor, Dr. Stauth co-founded QVSense, Inc, which was acquired by Solar Semiconductor in 2009. From 2000 to 2003 he was in integrated circuit designer for Allegro Microsystems. He has a background in power electronics and integrated circuits for wireless, consumer, and automotive applications and has consulted for several Bay Area semiconductor and consumer electronics companies.
