Holly Samuelson is a doctoral candidate at Harvard's Graduate School of Design in close collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Building Technology program. She is a registered architect with almost a decade of experience designing large-scale commercial buildings and consulting to architects, engineers, and building owners on sustainability issues. Holly earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Design in Sustainable Design from Harvard. She has authored or coauthored papers in multiple peer-reviewed conferences, the Journal of Building Performance Simulation, and Building and Environment. Her research has been awarded grants from multiple organizations, including the American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, and she currently serves as president of the Boston chapter of the International Building Performance Simulation Association.
