
Cindy Regnier, P.E., P.Eng., LEED AP is a Project Manager in EETD. Her current focus is on the Commercial Buildings Partnership to provide project management and technical assistance and a new project on small commercial buildings with Architecture 2030. She has over 13 years of engineering design experience, the last 7 of which were spent at Rumsey Engineers working solely on integrated HVAC design and MEP project management for low energy and low water projects. Her projects have included an AIA COTE Top 10 Green building award winner, several LEED Platinum buildings, a UC Sustainability Best Practice award winner, and the design of a 200,000sf carbon neutral, net zero energy science museum in San Francisco. Her projects have included radiant heating and cooling systems, displacement ventilation, dedicated outside air systems, natural ventilation, chiller-less cooling systems, ground source heat pumps, airside heat recovery, raised floor ventilation and low energy controls strategies. Ms. Regnier has spoken internationally and within the U.S. on low energy building design. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Engineering, with a specialty in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University in Canada.
