Christopher Sloop received his BS in Physics and Computer Engineering from the Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Sloop is a co-founder and CTO of AWS Convergence Tech. Inc where he has led development for the company for 18 years. Mr. Sloop has a wide range of experience including hardware systems development, sensor networking, data infrastructure development and visualizations systems. Currently, Mr. Sloop is leading efforts to expand AWS infrastructure to include automated assimilation of WeatherBug and other sensor data into computer models and display systems to improve intelligence in agriculture, severe weather forecasting and energy management.
