Alex McEachern is the President of Power Standards Lab. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE, and the Chairman of many standards: IEC 61000-4-30 (Power Quality Measurement Methods), SEMI F47 (voltage sag immunity), IEC 61000-4-34 (voltage dip immunity). Alex is well known throughout the world for his cheerful, practical, informative presentations on electric power. Last month, a fairly typical month, he solved power problems and taught seminars in Tokyo, Shanghai, Shi’An, Beijing, Guangzhou, Ho Chi Minh City, and Singapore.
