Chinese urbanization is moving millions of new people into cities each year.  For every two homes built on the earth, one is in China.  Although still developing, China already consumes half of the world’s cement and steel, and is the biggest producer of carbon emissions.  How can China meet its massive housing construction demand without destroying the environment?
