This presentation will provide an overview of the current research in the area of building energy efficiency in India. Four leading academic and research institutes will present their work. These four institutes are working together with CEPT Ahmedabad and IIM Ahmedabad along with LBNL and other US based institutes on the DOE and Government of India jointly funded project called the "U.S.-India Joint Center for Building Energy Research and Development (CBERD)." Major areas of research carried out by these institutes are HVAC design innovation, Renewable integration in buildings, building energy simulation, automation and controls, cool roofs lighting, human thermal comfort etc. The presentation will highlight the role of these institutes in the CBERD project.   A recording of this seminar is available at:  https://vimeo.com/58927431
