
During this seminar, Eugene will take us through an insightful journey of the dire ecologicial issues of the planet, his currently practiced issues of change in human behavior, the shortcomings of conventional design, a brief review of nature's working organisms and principles and examples of his built, and preparing-to-be-built, architecture, that expresses the profound intelligence and multi-dimensional resourcefulness of nature. He will show us his ZED (Zero Energy Dwelling) which uses no electricity, and the design of the Coram Deo Floating Island, planned for the Carribean, using concrete leeched from sea water, an apartment complex, in China, for 3500 people, based on the African termite's nest, plans for an earthquake-proof structure in China, and many others.
