Along with economic development and the urbanization process, energy use in China has increased significantly. China’s coal-dominated energy structure places great pressure on efforts to meet its carbon dioxide emission goal in 2020. Low-carbon community energy planning based on renewable energy is put forward here as a solution for increasing development in China while simultaneously meeting its low-carbon goal.
