IPKeys has been engaged by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (“NIST”) to develop, host and make publicly available an open source software and web services-based implementation of an OASIS standard Energy Interoperability (“EI”) enabled real time pricing system. The discussion is an introduction to the implementation and to establish potential synergies between LBL and IPKeys based on previous Open –ADR expertise and research and development successfully achieved by LBL. The objectives of this implementation include but are not limited to: a. Conformance testing by industry b. Public engagement and comments by industry and stakeholders c. Provide the web based services environment to enable vendor implementations for achieving OASIS standard status.
