This presentation will provide an overview on the current state of international software implementation of IFC. It will also explain the new official software certification of buildingSMART-International and will relate this effort to other validation tests. The online-platform for certification will be demonstrated, which also provides IFC-file-testing and viewing capabilities as a cloud and web service solution to interested experts.
