This seminar will discuss how energy management software can help building occupants, operations staff and management understand and actively manage energy use in buildings and facilities. Small Energy Group is a Vancouver, BC, based software company that builds software tools which help reduce energy consumption and demand. Our current focus is web-based energy management software aimed at commercial and institutional buildings. Our clients range from a remote off-grid community of 160 people to one of Canada's largest universities. We will discuss both our current work, which focuses on analysis, reporting and accountability, as well as upcoming opportunities such as demand aggregation and demand response.
