Sustainable buildings employ energy efficient technologies and integrated designs of building envelope, lighting, HVAC, and service water heating. This poses challenges for simulation tools to correctly and accurately model their energy performance. This seminar talks about some of the challenges and proposes potential solutions, including using EnergyPlus for code compliance and beyond.
