What's the role of graphic design in science communication? With today's myriad of competing digital imageries, can a graphic designer help a scientist find an effective communication language to reach the right audience? Is graphic design all asethetics, or is it more functional than you think? How does good design in your scientific presentations, such as a poster or a website, make a difference? As a scientist, why should you care about graphic design and learn to work with a graphic designer? In this informal seminar, we'll explore these issues and discuss the place of graphic design in a scientific laboratory. We'll also show you some of our latest work. All are welcome.
