This talk will survey the many different aspects of the California Energy Crisis and review what is and isn't known about it. The aftermath of this experience will be addressed briefly.  Ed Kahn is Managing Principal at the Analysis Group, an economic consulting firm located in San Francisco and other cities. He has worked on behalf of Southern California Edison, Pacific Gas and Electric, the California Attorney General and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, among others, on various aspects of the California Energy Crisis. He was formerly a Senior Staff Scientist at LBNL.
