This presentation will describe some of the work of the Building Services Group at UMIST.  It will relate specifically to the climate change work for simulating buildings' responses to climate change scenarios, funded by the Tyndall Climate Change Research Centre, and the occupant feedback research relating to perceived productivity. The newly formed CIB Working Commission W108 Climate change and the Built Environment will be outlined.
