There are several large risks of pollutants that, in the speaker's view, have not been adequately addressed by EPA. This seminar will address the risks of cancer caused by arsenic, of air pollution by fine particles, and to a lesser extent risks of natural outcroppings of asbestos. The speaker will use these examples to discuss how society might learn and be sure that there are no other large risks lurking undetected.
