Partnerships are integral to the success of LBNL’s Environmental Energy Technologies Division as a catalyst in the energy-efficiency marketplace, providing an extraordinary rate of return on the Department of Energy’s research investment over the past three decades. From the outset, our focus has been on a coordinated technological and deployment-oriented strategy for addressing the world’s most critical energy and environment challenges, working across the globe with collaborators in industry, utilities, federal agencies, NGOs, State and local governments and universities.
