"The Vomit Comet"

This picture shows Arlon riding one of NASA's microgravity research aircraft. Shortly before this shot was taken, experiments were performed to study the effects of zero gravity on the formation of gels. The plane produces zero gravity by diving towards the ground at a steep angle, followed by a steep ascent that produces 2-G's. The researcher hovering below Arlon is very concerned about what will happen when gravity returns.
